Where many stop, we keep going.

Underwater works, from the shore to 69 metres.

At three metres, the same team, the same equipment and the same preparation as at sixty-nine.

TRSubC builds and maintains pontoons and harbour structures, and inspects, repairs and installs underwater for harbours, municipalities, owners, operators and industry. We don't sell dives: we hand back a structure in working order, on a set date.

You are

Three ways in, depending on what you need.

Emergency. Intake blocked, mooring torn away: for emergency work on your structure to be possible, let us agree on it in advance. Write to us at subc@trsc.world and we will set the mobilisation time together.
Harbour structures

Pontoons and harbour structures, from design to commissioning.

A harbour is built as much underwater as on the surface. We design the layout, install the pontoons and their anchoring, then maintain them season after season, with our own divers for everything below the waterline.

1

Design

Seabed survey, layout, choice of anchoring and sizing. You know what will be installed, where and why, before the first lift.

2

Build

Floating pontoons, finger piers, access gangways, mooring blocks, chains and anchors. Installation on the surface and fixing underwater are done by the same team.

3

Maintain

Inspection of moorings and anchoring, replacement of worn chains and fixings, repairs after a storm or a flood. A report after every visit.

Who we build for

Below the waterline. A pontoon holds by what you cannot see: its anchoring. We install and inspect it ourselves, by diving, instead of leaving it to a third party.
Underwater works

One team, from the shore to great depth.

Depth changes neither our team, nor our equipment, nor the way we prepare a job. It changes the gas we breathe and the emergency resources we bring.

1

Inspect

Condition of the structure, measurements, photos and video. You receive a report your engineers can use, not an impression.

2

Repair

Underwater welding and cutting, concrete, sheet piles, piles, intake screens, pipelines, anchoring and corrosion protection.

3

Install

Water intakes, pipelines and ballasting, pontoons and moorings, lifting and salvage of machinery or boats.

By type of structure

Depth by depth

The structures we work on

  1. 0 – 10 mHarbours, banks, pontoons and moorings
  2. 10 – 25 mBridges, locks, civil engineering structures
  3. 25 – 40 mDrinking-water intakes and thermal networks
  4. 40 – 69 mDeep intakes, dams, lake pipelines
  5. BeyondSaturation: a different approach, practised by members of the team
Depth. Below forty metres, air is no longer enough: we switch to mixed gas and the emergency chamber comes to the site. Down to sixty-nine metres, this is our everyday work.
Collective expertise

Our references are people, and they work together.

This is the T in TRSC, Team: collective expertise where everyone contributes to success. For each project we build the team from this panel, and when needed we call on the experts of the group's other companies.

What the team has already done

Who works on your structure

Site manager

Prepares the job and settles the plan, roles and equipment before arriving. Responsible for site safety.

Professional divers

Work together all year round. Some of them come from military diving, where nobody enters the water before the mission has been prepared.

Qualified welders

Underwater welding and cutting on steel and concrete, to written and checked procedures.

Structure inspector

Surveys, measurements and condition report your engineers can use.

Machine and boat operators

Lifting, handling and navigation: the same team operates the equipment, with no second mobilisation to organise.

Hyperbaric technicians

Chamber, gas and emergency response. The emergency plan for each site is agreed with the hyperbaric physician and the hospital that would take charge of the diver.

Continuity. Every post in the team has a relief trained in the same skills: an absence does not push back your week.
Safety

An underwater job almost never goes off track for technical reasons.

It goes off track because someone is being waited for, because the structure is only discovered once in the water, or because a part is missing. These are lost days, and they can be prevented.

What costs daysWhat we do
The team meets for the first time on siteOur divers work together all year round. Nobody learns a colleague's way of working on your structure.
Preparation happens on siteSurvey, work plan, equipment and roles are settled before arrival. We enter the water to work.
An equipment failure stops everythingThe equipment comes from the group's fleet, maintained and replaced the same day in the event of a breakdown.
One incident and the job stops deadEmergency response is organised before day one, with the physician and the hospital that would take charge of the diver. The chamber comes to the site when the dive requires it.

Three questions to ask any diving company

1

Who's coming

Are the divers coming to my site your employees, and since when? Only an employment contract answers that.

2

Emergency response

Who is the hyperbaric physician for this job, which hospital would receive an injured diver, and has its chamber been notified? A name, a hospital and a date answer that.

3

The schedule kept

On your last three comparable jobs, how many days were planned, and how many did it take? Dates answer that.

Respect. Each job follows the rules of the country it is in: in Switzerland, the Ordinance on the safety of workers when working in pressurised environments (SR 832.311.12: safety concept, Art. 6; emergency and rescue plan, regularly drilled, Art. 7); in France, the Labour Code (Art. R4461-1 et seq.) and the orders of 14 May 2019; in Germany and Austria, the national accident-prevention rules. Every dive is measured, recorded and documented per diver. Our public liability insurance covers each of our jobs: the certificate comes with every offer. We answer the three questions during the site visit, and we put them in writing in our offer.
Working with us

A plan, a date, a report.

You don't have to watch a dive to know where your structure stands.

1

Before

We come and see the structure. You receive a written work plan, a date and a price, not an estimate to be confirmed on site.

2

During

One update a day. Every dive is measured and recorded as it happens.

3

After

A report: the condition of the structure, what was done, what will need further work and when.

The gap. The price of a diving day is easy to compare from one offer to the next. The number of days, much less so. Yet that is what makes the invoice.

Where we work

AustriaSwitzerlandGermanyFranceFranceGermanySwitzerlandAustria

Wherever the structure is.

Today we work in Switzerland, Germany, Austria and France, on lakes, rivers, dams and harbours.

In France, you receive before day one the documents the law requires you to check: posting declaration, social security certificates and company certification. You have nothing to piece together.

Further afield on request: the team travels with its equipment.

Network

The safety of large organisations, for companies that are not one.

Chamber, heavy equipment, procedures, insurance, qualified personnel: a large company carries them alone, an independent diving company rarely. TRSubC pools them. Network members keep their name, their clients and their region. They share our standards.

1

Shared resources

Recompression chamber and standby, boats, mobile base and hyperbaric equipment, rented to the network by TRSCharter.

2

Network services

Audits, certifications, insurance pool and group purchasing: compliance at a cost a single member could not bear.

3

Qualified personnel

Divers and technical staff provided by TRSCrew, to complete a team for the duration of a job.

Publications

Every topic we cover has its own document.

A flyer, a brochure or a full file, depending on what the topic needs. Our documents are reserved for registered users: submit your request, we approve it and you access the ones relevant to you, in French, German or English depending on the editions available.
