TRSubC franchise — independent divers

Become TRSubC in your area.

You can dive and you can work. What you lack isn't skill: it's the equipment, the written method and the cash to get started.

The TRSubC network gives you all three and leaves you your independence. Lake, harbour or coast: you become TRSubC in your area, in Switzerland, Germany, Austria or France.

The franchise

One brand, independent companies.

TRSubC is not a staffing agency. Each franchisee runs their own company, finds their own clients and keeps their margins. What they share is the brand, the method and access to equipment.

1

You keep your company

You sign your contracts, you invoice, you set your schedule. The network does not take over your operations.

2

You take the name

TRSubC becomes your trading name. The owner sees a structured network, not an isolated independent.

3

You rent instead of buying

The starter kit is rented from TRSCharter, maintenance and replacement equipment included. No loan to arrange before the first job.

4

You're not alone in quiet periods

When your order book is empty, you or your divers reinforce other areas of the network through TRSCrew. And when you're a person short, the network provides one.

5

You work across four countries

The method covers Switzerland, France, Germany and Austria. A job across the border doesn't mean starting from scratch.

6

Your area, your territory

Only one franchise per lake or harbour. You set your own prices; the network gives you what you need to justify them.

What makes the difference for an independent. It's never the diving that's missing, it's the upfront investment: control panel, compressor, gas, chamber, insurance and regulatory file. The network takes that barrier on.
The method

What you get on day one.

The regulatory work is done. You don't have to rebuild a decompression framework or a safety file.

Dive configurations

For each depth band from 3 to 69 m: technique, bottom time, decompression, number of dives and crew size.

The four national frameworks

Switzerland, France, Germany, Austria: minimum crew, depths, durations, chamber and notification thresholds, with references.

Procedures

Standard dive plan, emergency and rescue plan, crew rotation, records to keep for ten years.

The operations handbook

The document your crew takes to the site: tables, rotations, thresholds, pre- and post-dive checks.

Site documents

Dive plan, job log, survey sheet, personal decompression record: supplied with worked examples.

The supporting file for authorities

The arguments on crew size, the decompression framework and chamber thresholds. You reuse it instead of building it.

And the updates. When a table, a text or a practice changes, the network redoes the work and sends you the updated version. You don't discover a regulatory change during an inspection.
The equipment

The starter kit, for rent.

Two levels. The first gets you working, the second opens up depth and special works. Maintenance remains with the network, with replacement equipment during servicing and in case of breakdown.

Kit 1 — the basics

Everything to carry out a compliant shallow-water job

  • Control panel and surface supply
  • Compressor and air storage
  • Helmet or full-face mask and suit
  • Umbilical, comms and bailout
  • Decompression oxygen and suitable regulators
  • First-aid kit and oxygen therapy
Kit 2 — add-on

Depth, mixed gas and special works

  • Heliox channel on the control panel
  • Mixed-gas storage and analysis
  • Mobile recompression chamber
  • Hydraulic and cutting tools
  • Video and data recording
  • Lifting and recovery equipment

Indicative composition, to be set according to your area and services. If you already work with your own equipment, the kit is built from what you're missing. Vehicle, premises, consumables, gas, operating insurance and your crew's wages stay with you.

Who does what

What the network takes on, and what stays with you.

What we look at. Your experience as a diver, the reality of your area and your ability to bring three people together. We don't ask for capital: we ask for a trade.
Getting started

Three steps, and you're on your first job.

We're not looking for investors. We're looking for divers who want to work for themselves.

1

We meet

Your background, your area, your potential clients, your current equipment. Together we check whether the local market holds up.

2

We size it

Working depths, kit required, crew to assemble, and what that yields in billable bottom time.

3

We start

Contract, kit rental, handover of the method and procedures, support on the first jobs.

Fee, kit rental and commitment period are set in the contract, after the sizing in step 2.

Questions

What we are asked most often.

Do I lose my independence?

No. You keep your company, your clients and your operating decisions. What you take on is a name, a method and access to equipment.

How much does it cost to start?

The kit is rented, so there is no purchase to finance. Rental and fee are set in the contract, depending on the kit chosen and your area.

And if I don't have enough work in the first year?

You can reinforce network jobs during quiet periods. It's planned for, and it's one of the reasons the network exists.

Do I need a specific professional qualification?

It depends on the country. In every case, the network requires trained divers, up-to-date medical monitoring and maintained continuing training: that is the condition for carrying the name.

I already work with my own equipment.

Tell us what you have. The kit is built from what you're missing, not from scratch.

I don't want to take on the name.

A partner who does not want to become TRSubC can rent equipment from the network, without access to the other services described here.

Let's talk

A coffee, your harbour or your lake, your plans.

Write to us with your area and your background. We'll call you back and see if it works. No commitment.
